HI! I'M ALYSON
I'm the introverted, pun-making, Disney fanatic that makes up the other half of our podcasting duo. A 2020 graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in Journalism & Electronic Media, I decided to buy into the ‘electronic media’ component and approach Loren with the idea of starting a podcast. After discussing the idea over a ‘girl’s night in,’ Loren and I decided to create a place where people could find friends, comfort, and honest conversation - as well as laughter and fact checking on random things, (like the Harry Potter universe!)

When I’m not podcasting, I work in video production and live broadcasting for college athletics. I love doing any and all things related to editing: imagine me at a desk in a dark room, late at night, amidst the glow of a computer monitor - it’s an introvert’s dream job! I can also be found sharing life updates and reflections on my blog All Things Alyson. Needless to say, Loren and I are both passionate about several things, one of which is sharing content with you! HI! I'M LOREN GRACE
As the Taylor Swift, communications obsessed arm of Nice to Have a Friend, I am so excited you're here on our official podcast page. When Alyson first brought up her interest in starting a podcast, it felt like a pivotal moment for me-- i had daydreamed of starting a podcast of my own a few dozen times and all it took for me to get serious about it was Alyson mentioning she was looking for someone to jump into it with.

I graduated from UT Knoxville with a public relations and business degree in May 2020 and have since been working part-time for the UT System communications team and working harder than ever on my online presence. I started classicallygrace.com right before my study abroad program in June 2018 and fell in love with content creation. I post on instagram each day and upload new lifestyle and fashion posts to classicallygrace.com multiple times each week. Thank you for being here in this space with us!
